(Ross dirigindo)
Mulher: I gotta headache.
Doug: I'm not surprised.
(Doug, Carole, e outras pessoas estãocarregando a misteriosa mullher que Ross trouxe
para a sala de trauma)
Carol: Where'd you find her, Doug?
Doug: My house.
Carol: What's her name?
Doug: I don't know.
(A mulher começa a ter um ataque)
Kerry: Get some coolant in here before her brain fries!
(Kerri quer separar os casos médicos/cirurgicos entre os atendentes)
Mark: No, I wanted neither when you first asked, because I think it's a bad idea.
(Carter perdeu alguns slides no incendio do seu apartamento)
Benton: Did you replace them?
Carter: Not yet.
Benton: Get busy.
(Keaton quer que Benton faça um pre-op num paciente)
Keaton: Bring Doctor Carter along - I guarantee it'll be a learning experience.
Jerry: How's Doctor Ross's friend?
Conni: Friend may be overstating it.
Kerry: Y'know, I don't think that's any of our business.
Doug: Her name is Nadine Wilkers . . .
Mark: Doug, she's dead.
Doug: I'm confused, Mark. Does it come as a big shock to you that I was intimate with
someone who I am less than soul mates with?
Mark: Doug, you didn't even know her name.
Doug: You think that I did cocaine? Is that what you're really asking me?
Mark: Should I ask?
Doug: You want a sample? You want me to piss in that mug right now, would that satisfy
you?
Mark: Use a specimen cup.
Doug: You wanna watch?
(Carter convencendo uma adolecente problemática a fazer uma operação)
Carter: Last time I checked, they had a semi-backfield. Maybe you should start some of the
cheerleaders - they look tough enough.
(Sobre uma vitima de tiro de 12 anos de idade)
Carol: He looks like a baby.
Paramédico: Wait 'til you talk to the cops.
Jeanne: Wendy . . . WENDY! Splint!
(O teste de Ross deu negativo em drogas mas esqueceram de fazer o de dosagem alcoolica)
Mark: He may need some help.
Kerry: Good idea.
(Ross não quer a ajuda de Kerry)
Doug: Hey, Carol, what's the hourly rate for babysitters these days?
(Keaton está elogiando Benton, que por alguma razão admite uma fraquesa)
Benton: You know, uh, actually Carter was very helpful in breaking the ice.
(De volta a vitima de 12 anos)
Doug: When I was a kid, we boosted a bag of chips . . . now they want the whole store?
(Lydia e Haleh estão tentando ganhar um pouco de atenção de um colega de um
paciente)
Lydia: Why don't you show us a few moves, cowboy?
Doug: I got people parting like the red sea every time I walk down the hallway.
(Ross não acha que Mark pode ser seu chefe e amigo ao mesmo tempo)
Doug: I don't need your sanctimonious approval of my life!
Doug: Do me a favor. Don't come to me for tips on women anymore. If I choose to have a Roman orgy with farm animals in my free time, that is none of your business. That is none of anyone's business.
(Alguma coisa aparece)
Doug: Mark, we're not finished yet!
Mark: We are!
(Keaton para a mãe de uma paciente)
Keaton: God willing, this surgery will be her last.
(Mark e Carter estão indo receber uma ambulancia)
Carter: Great postcard from Dr. Lewis. Only she would send a postcard from O'Hare.
(Carol ouvindo a música que vem da sala de espera)
Jerry: Some guy's trying to seduce the nursing staff.
(Ross não está falando tudo que ele sabe)
Doug: Actually.... a friend brought she in, you know.
Claire Wilkers: I know what kind of friends she had at four A.M..

Sra. Hathaway: I see you're finally learning.

Carol: This isn't your line.
Doug: That's a buck down the drain.
(Ross sentindo-se culpado)
Doug: She thought I was just another caring doctor . . . I let her think that. That's what
I want everybody to think.
(Carol cansada do jogo de Ross de sempre querer que ela venha confortá-lo)
Carol: I'm just not playing. You're on your own.
(Carol deixa Doug sentado na estação Metro)
Doug: I just didn't know she was sick!
Carol: You didn't know her at all.
